Biomethane is produced through the purification of biogas, which, in turn, is generated from residues from the industrial processing of sugarcane. Part of the production is directed to our internal fleet and the other is marketed via an isolated pipeline (a pioneer in the world), or trucks for industries and companies in various sectors that are committed to reducing their carbon footprint. Biomethane already represents one of the main alternatives in the transition to a zero-carbon economy.
